jsonODF: a possible oportunity
Imagine OOXML and ODF to meet on a multiplatform and multicompany office document standart based on JSON (Javascript Object Notation). Would it be great!
I offer to call this new and maybe never coming standart jsonODF.
This is useful, becasue:
- Mobile phones which run JavaScript code can become an office applications without some heavy stuff on them, just a simple office packs
- Google Docs and so on can be even more powerful and no file standarts misunderstanding between OpenOffice, MS Office and web based office packs
- JavaScript is a dynamic language and JSON data can be more easily edited and manipulated on the fly, of course according to the architecture of the office pack, but in general web browsers on any device are supposed to work with JSON more easier than with XML
